Electric Bike World

Example

On a bike with  a claimed range of 14 miles.

If you do more than 4 miles out and 4 miles back you will run out of power.

All these claimed mileages are achieved under ideal conditions.
Under other conditions these distances might not be realized.

The following should also be taken into consideration:
Steep hills
Stopping and starting
Over use of the throttle
Wind resistance
Road surface
Tyre pressures
Lubrication of the bike
And of course how much effort you put in.

Just turning the pedals lightly will still trigger the controller into life, but the motor will be doing most of the work. That's ok, but the distance travelled on a singe charge will come down.

An electric Bike is only as good as its battery and motor.

The best batteries have the most power. Volts, Amps, Watts. They also have a battery management circuitry built into them, to protect them and to ensure that the cells all charge and discharge evenly for maximum battery life.

You should never choose a battery by price alone. Just because the battery case looks nice that means nothing.

The same applies to the motor. For a bike to be reliable and efficient it needs a really good quality motor.

You wouldn't choose any product based on the case it comes in, it's the same with an electric bike.

It's what's inside that counts.

The LifeCycle batteries all have a management circuit board inside and LifeCycle only use the Xtension HIGH TORQUE motors which are exclusive to LifeCycle.

But that's only part of the reason why the Life Cycles are the best electric bikes by far. There is so much more.

So come and try one for your self and see!
