Riding an electric bike instead of driving a car is the biggest single contribution we can make in reducing our carbon footprint.

Riding an ordinary bike can be hard work. It is unreasonable and unrealistic to expect most adults who are not particularly fit, or have health issues to pedal an ordinary bike up hills. Some do of course, but many of us need a little help. That's where electric bikes come in.

Riding one of our electric bikes is easy for just about everyone, and just about everyone will find it a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

They are not motorbikes; you do need to pedal them, but only gently. Even up hills or against a strong headwind they are effortless to pedal. It’s like going down hill all the time. Of course if you want to pedal them hard to get more exercise you can. It all up to you.

The amount of electricity used to power most electric bikes is very small, the cost is less than £5 per thousand miles. That's cheaper than walking. If you walked a thousand miles you would need a new pair of shoes and they would cost more than £5. And just think of all those Mars Bars you would consume on the way!

Most of our customers who used to only ride a bike occasionally, or not at all, now ride their electric bike most days. They even just go for bike rides for the pure enjoyment of it. Something they would never have considered with an ordinary bike.

And now that we have a range really great looking electric mountain bikes as well as electric folding bikes, traditional style step through frame electric bikes, we even have a retro style "olde English" electric bike, called the Harrington, these is no excuse because we have electric bikes for everyone
